My name is Mihail Ciobu (but you can call me Michael, or just Mike). I was born in Moldova, a small country in Eastern Europe, where I’ve lived for most of my life. A little over 2 years ago, I came to the Netherlands, to start my studies as an aspiring Software Developer. At this point in time, I am the only international worker at Vsee, which brings a certain spice to the company.
As a Software Developer Intern, I bring value to the team by designing IT solutions, which are meant to help the people at Vsee fulfill their tasks more efficiently and effectively. Therefore, my job involves a beautiful, yet seemingly paradoxical mix of creativity and structure, which I thoroughly enjoy. I am learning a lot here, and my work is making a positive impact, which delights me.
Outside of work
I’m an enthusiastic learner with a childlike curiosity, who seeks to discover and understand this beautifully strange world he has found himself in. Thus, I have a natural affinity for books, podcasts and other educational materials.
This enthusiasm for learning ties well with my strong desire for growth and self-improvement. In my view, making small, continual improvements in all areas of my life is the way to go – and that is what I strive to do.
Lastly, I love engaging in creative endeavors, primarily music. I’ve practiced music for most of my life, playing in bands, singing in a choir and doing some songwriting. Although I’ve played a fair share of instruments throughout the years, my love lies primarily in singing and playing guitar.
